About

Skyler is originally from Canada, and she has worked in the education sector for three decades as a Teacher, CAS Coordinator and IB University Counselor. Skyler moved to Europe in 2012 and spent seven years in Switzerland as the Head of University Counseling at International School Basel where her students applied to the US, UK, EU, Canada and beyond.

In 2019, Skyler transitioned to Denmark with her family and launched Bentley Hall Educational Consulting. In her role as a consultant, she has supported five international IB World Schools with career and university guidance including: Copenhagen International School, (DK), ACS Cobham International School (UK), EF Academy New York (NY), International School Basel (CH) and more recently, the International School of Paris (FR).   

Aside from advising on career and university options, Skyler co-leads a professional mentoring program through International ACAC, she assists international graduates with their job search, she teaches college prep classes for a summer school in Scotland, and writes about higher education topics. Skyler is passionate about supporting students with their educational journey as they search for the 'right fit' university for their interests.
