Skyler Bentley Hall: Principal Consultant
Skyler is a proud Canadian who has worked in the education sector for the past three decades as a certified Teacher, CAS Coordinator, University Counsellor and Educational Consultant at IB World Schools. Her knowledge of university admissions is extensive, successfully supporting hundreds of international students with applications worldwide. Practicing a holistic approach, she supports each student’s unique talents, learning style and general well-being. It is her top priority to guide students (and families) with finding the ‘right fit’ university that aligns with their personal and academic interests.
Prior to becoming an Independent Educational Consultant, Skyler was the Head of Career and University Counselling at International School of Basel in Switzerland (2012-2019). Currently, she is based in Copenhagen and founded Bentley Hall Consulting in September 2019. As a Consultant, she has successfully partnered with six IBO World Schools through a hybrid counselling model including: Copenhagen International School (DK), International School of Basel (CH), EF Academy New York (US), ACS Cobham International School (UK), American International School Dhaka (BD), and International School of Paris (FR). Through each of these collaborations, she has supported high school students with university applications to the UK, EU, US, Canada and beyond.
Skyler's professional affiliations include the Council of International Schools (CIS), Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC). As part of International ACAC, she Co-Chaired the Mentor Year Program (MYP), an organization she is deeply committed to supporting. Skyler has also participated in the Council of International Schools Summit Advisory Board focused on cross-cultural transitions-care. This is an organization she is proud to represent as they work towards finding solutions to enhance the student experience.

The International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC) is a premiere organization for professionals engaged in international college counseling and admissions with over 4,000 members representing 140+ countries and 1,500 institutions. In 2022, Skyler Bentley Hall was a recipient for NACAC’s Rising Star Award as a member of IACAC's Mentor Year Program Committee. This Award acknowledges individuals who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the field of education.
